Few people can immediately believe that in Turkey there is a place where entire fields of lavender bloom. Well, why not? Of course there are lavender fields in Turkey...
In the province of Isparta they know a lot about growing beautiful flowers - roses grow everywhere in the city itself, but on the southern slope of the mountains near Lake Burdur there is lavender. Moreover, they have been growing for quite a long time, but this place has gained popularity among tourists just recently. In two small villages every year for 3-4 weeks, starting in the last week of June, lavender fields determine the rhythm of life for local farmers. Sachet, Turkish delight, honey, oils, soap, perfume - everything that can be made from lavender can be bought here))
Well, most importantly, there is an opportunity to take a lot of beautiful photos and take a bouquet of lavender with you...
