Nimara Cave
There are many interesting places in the immediate vicinity of Marmaris. One of them is Nimara Cave.
According to legend, a goddess named Leto, the wife of the great Zeus and the mother of Apollo himself, once lived in this cave.
The cave itself is small. But when it was first discovered, many archaeological treasures were found here. According to scientists' research, these finds were made in the period 10-20 thousand years BC, which indicates that at that time people were already living in the vicinity of Marmaris.
Even now, Nimara Cave is protected as a valuable archaeological site.
As part of the excursion, you will be able to visit the cave and enjoy the peace and tranquility far from civilization.
Sariana's Tomb
Near the entrance there are stands in Turkish and English, which tell about the life of Sariana.
The interior of Sariana's tomb amazes with its riot of color - the walls are decorated with colorful mosaics interspersed with ligature and several tablets, the ceiling is white and blue. In the middle of the room there is a sarcophagus with the relics of the fortuneteller. Nearby there is a small chair for pilgrims.
Royal Cemetery
It is located near the city center and is one of the architectural attractions of Marmaris.
